People I've met in real life:
Kaleena Rose Hill: You showed me what love is and it is that love that I believe inspired me to write. You are the love of my life and I know you'll stand by my side no matter how much time I spend writing (and no matter how many voices are in my head).
Danielle D'Agostino: You have spent many hours proofreading my writing for spelling errors and grammar and you've spent even more time listening to me talk about my writing plans. You're my editor and you work for free! More importantly, you're a great friend. Thanks for spending your free time editing the Universe that exists inside my head.
Shannon Sweeney: You spent two years pushing me to write whenever I went on a hiatus. If your stubbornness weren't comparable to mine, I don't know that I would have finished writing my first book.
C.J. Atene: You're a great friend and a great idea bouncer. Whenever I'm not sure about something I can count on you to help me think.
Justin Poole: You've been my best friend for quite a long time and when I told you I was writing a book you loved the idea. Thanks for being my best friend.
Jamison Wezelis: You've been there since I started writing and I've been there since you started writing. Whenever I needed a second opinion you were there. Thanks for your support.
To My Family: I may not be the most successful person in the world. I may not cure cancer and I may not run a business, but I am going to do something far greater. I am going to get paid to tell the world what I think. You made me who and what I am and I will always thank you for that.

Melissa Foster: You've been there since I started using twitter to help me out with writing query letters. Without your knowledge of the process I would probably still be lost. Thank You.
Sandra Scholes: You've been ecstatic about my book ever since you read the pre-review that Danielle wrote. I owe you a review and an interview once I'm published. Thanks for all of the enthusiasm.
John Green: You're the bestselling author of Paper Towns, Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines and Will Grayson, Will Grayson and I don't for one minute expect you to ever read this, but if you do, under some unimaginable circumstance end up reading this, I want to thank you for showing me that writing was cool and fun.
